If your Wacom sometimes takes a shit, here’s how you can make it register again without a restart.
I have this saved but I’m reblogging because of reasons.
Useful!
41 hours to support the making of an old-school adventure game in the spirit of Full Throttle, Grim Fandango and The Secret of Monkey Island.
I’m learning Unity this weekend. My first project is japan themed 3D memory match game. I was first planning to do Native american totem animal themed game but it would have been too much work. Hopefully I can finish this tomorrow.
Hi,
Just wanted to share my Wacom Cintiq 24HD experiences. If you are planning to get one you might want to reconsider it.
I ordered mine couple of months ago and it has been all downhill after that. As you can see from the attached pictures I already have 2 of them and both are broken. Retailer just asked do I want a new one or my money back. I’m taking my money back and returning these two tomorrow. Drawing and painting experience with Cintiq 24HD is superior compared to the other models. You can make really long and comlex lines without any problems. I’ve been using Graphire 3, Intuos 3, 4 and Wacom 12WX before this so I know what I’m talking about. BUT! Wacom seems to be unable to to deliver working units. First cintiq had faulty fans and second one had red flickering display with black stripes. Other customes have had their own share of strange problems. If the product doesn’t work out of the box… how well does it perform after couple of years? You can use Intuos tablets for years and they still work and feel like new.
Modo 601 is finally out and now it has character rigging capabilities. I’ll probably buy it at some point and leave the Autodesk ship.
Intuos 5 is coming and this time with touch inputs. You can pan, zoom and rotate with your fingers. How cool is that!
